Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has claimed he has no regrets about letting Darren Bent leave for Sunderland, even though the forward has now scored 20 league goals for his new club. “Darren’s had a terrific season,” he said. “He has scored his goals, it’s been a great move for him and it’s done him the world of good.” Bent was replaced at Tottenham by Jermain Defoe, who has been in prolific form himself, and the former West Ham and Portsmouth striker is expected to return today after making a rapid recovery from a hamstring injury, aided by spending his nights in an altitude chamber.
